Fire safety training

If you are looking for activities that develop childrens IT skills while teaching them about safety go to http://www.nfpa.org/sparky/arcade.html

There are lots of interactive games that help children to understand how to escape quickly from a buiding if a smoke alarm or fire alarm is triggered. When the child has 'escaped' from the building they can download and print their own fire drill certificate. This is a great way to help children learn and a good way to evidence how you:

Help to keep children safe (EYFS Principle 1.3)

Support Learning (EYFS Principle 2.3)

Click here to download a fire drill certificate which could be used to evidence children have taken part in a fire drill with their childminder

It's autumn
